LOVE the shoe. The heel isn't too high due to the platformJust a smidgen tight, but felt Lil more loose after wearing for few min. Great boot, comfy, and looks great. Glad I purchased!I really like these boots. :( They're well made, practical, and *potentially* comfortable with a side of sexy. Unfortunately, they are WAY too narrow. I don't normally wear "wide" sizes, but this boot needs to have that option! Not only are they too narrow side to side, but they're too tight to use any kind of comfort insert or heaven forbid - thick socks! The length from heel to toe seems spot on with standard sizing, but in every other direction, there seems to be a problem.However, I can confidential say they are extremely durable, as they've withstood several vigorous, desperate and careless methods I've used in attempts to stretch them. XDBeautiful just like the pictureMore chunky and run a little bigSexy, yes! But not as functional or comfortable as most Sorels. I also have the Joan of Arctic wedge and can work on my feet all day in those most of the time. I could probably do 2-3 hours on my feet in these. The heel shape makes for an awkward, clunky landing to my stride. The arch is not in the right place for my foot. The toe box is narrow.They are comfortable and easy to wear.I'm a size 7, consistently across all brands. I really wanted to like these boots, so I ordered them in several sizes based off of other reviews from many sites. Many places recommended sizing up as the toe bed is supposedly quite narrow. I would say that my feet are overall normal, perhaps even on the smaller side in the toe area.Size 7: These were SNUG around the toe area. I had on a regular pair of socks, but with boots, I generally like a thicker wool sock, which I can't imagine would work at all. Because the toe area was so snug, I could tell that I would have extreme difficulty wearing these around all day.Size 7.5, Half Size Up: So the sizing on these were correct, particularly around the toe area. Despite this, the arch was extremely uncomfortable on my foot, and this could likely be because the length of the shoe is just too large for my foot despite the toe area fitting so well.Size 8, Full Size: Waaay too large. I wouldn't recommend this at all.Overall, the booties are super cute, I just couldn't get sizing to work for me at all.
