I bought this as my go-to back-of-the-closet funeral dress. It fit my 3X torso well, and there were no annoying buttons or fasteners or itchy bits to distract me. It's very packable.As someone living in hot climate area, though, I felt I should point out that the nice lining of the dress would make it warmer than you want for attending outdoor events or in cemeteries > 85dF (30dC).It's a great dress but too heavy for my purpose. Very nice lace and the fit was perfect.Really liked the dress but it had a snag on the lace. Probably could have been repaired but for the price I was afraid more snags would occur. Dress had possibly been returned and then shipped out again without quality control seeing the defect (front waistline snag).Good quality but seem to Run a little tight in bust area order XLarge size 40DD Some people would be OK with fit. I wish just 1inch looser all over. I am very happy with the dress.The Fit is good but I am Big busted 40-H its tight But the material does stretch a little so that helped, the band right under the bust doesn't lay flat against me, but with a big bust nothing does but it looks good.I will buy from them again, I did buy what their size chart said for size 1X, I was concerned but as I stated it fits real nice I am happy with it. I got a 5x it's alot larger then I expected I should have gone with a 3x but 4 if I wanted it looser fit. I'll have to bring this one in a bit but that's OK! It's lovely good quality material and I'm so excited for my fiance to see me in it he's gonna be stunned! I was searching for a dress for my son's March wedding, and as a curvy 66-yr old, I had problems finding a style that worked. I'm 5'5", a size 14 on top and 16 on bottom and ordered this dress in a 1X. Although across the chest was slightly small, it wasn't uncomfortable and the back fit. The empire waist is very forgiving, unlike the sheath styles popular right now. The length was about 3" below my knee. Although I was at first concerned that the lace looked cheap, a very picky girlfriend didn't agree, so I kept the dress. I found the perfect matching blue shoes on Amazon - Dream Pairs Joans royal blue low wedges!Was in desperate need of a dress for a wedding next week. Everything I bought when I tried on just didn't feel right. Ordered this dress out of desperation and because it had good reviews. Ordered the 2x as I am 16/18. So glad I did, dress fits perfect. Perfect length, lace is just below knee. Fabric does not feel cheap or itchy. Not sure why people thought it was heavy feeling, the underlining is a bit thicker than normal dresses but I think that is what makes the dress fall nicely and hide flaws. The A=line styling swings nicely and fits nicely over my let's say "ample bottom". The top is not too low cut for my tastes, just perfect so it's not matronly looking but not too revealing. The sleeves hit below elbow and are not tight. If your upper arms are not your best feature, this sleeve hides them while still giving a nice "see through" look. From what I can tell it seems well made. Overall a nice dress, perfect to wear to an evening wedding or other formal event. Glad I took the chance a bought it. I got the black, it's a timeless dress that can be worn again and again.
