I purchased these boots on 12/9/09 and three years later am still loving them. Now..I am in South New Jersey and we no longer get tremendous snows, however, it still can get cold here and the few snows we get have given me use for these boots. Granted...there are many other snow boots that are much more attractive, however, for what these are they are nice looking. They are extremely comfortable and really do keep my feet warm. My feet tend to really feel the cold quick and no other boot I've tried so far has given me the comfort that these boots have. We like to walk in the snow and/or cold weather and I have walked about 2 miles in these and have been comfortable. Although they are not water proof, but water resistent, my feet have stayed dry even after hours of shoveling heavy wet snow and running the large snow blower. For me they seem to be true to size. I was able to put two pair of socks (one thin and one heavier on top) on and be comfortable. In other words I had enough room. The photo shown here at Amazon is a good photo, but I think they are even cuter in person. If you are going somewhere dressy in bad weather you could certainly put these on to get into wherever you are going and then change into your dress shoes once in the door...you won't look crazy. They have help up and basically still look fairly new. I do rinse them off and clean them up real good once I know I won't need them again.
